“Das Ende ist erst der Anfang” ist ein Film des Regisseurs und Schauspielers Bouli Lanners. Ein wirklich sehenswerter Streifen in dem auch zwei Lost Places die uns allen gut bekannt sind vorkommen. Einer davon ist dieser alte Verladebahnhof hier, in dem die Hauptprotagonisten eine Leiche finden.

Das alte Bahnbetriebswerk mit Rangierbahnhof wurde 1890 erbaut. Zu ihm gehört auch der Wasserturm Nord, der im Zuge der Erweiterung 1912-14 hinzu kam. Das Werk war für die Reparatur von Güterwaggons konzipiert und wurde Ende 2000 stillgelegt
The old rail yard with switchyard was built in 1890. The “water tower north” was built during the expansion of the site between 1912 and 1914. The rail yard was designed for the reparation of box wagons and was closed end of 2000.
