Diese alte Fabrikhalle diente wohl zuletzt als Garage für alle möglichen Arten von Vehikeln. Karnevalswagen wurden hier offensichtlich auch zusammengebaut. Ein interessanter Lost Place, vor allem auch wegen der wunderschönen alten Heizanlage und dem überall schon sehr vorangeschrittenen Verfall. Genau unser Ding!

This old factory building was probably last used as a garage for all kinds of vehicles. Carnival floats were obviously also assembled here. An interesting lost place, especially because of the beautiful old heating system and the very advanced decay everywhere. Just our thing!

Das Schloss der Kinder (BE)

Mitten in einer großen Stadt entdecken wir dieses prächtige Anwesen welches ein reicher Ölhändler im Jahre 1912 erbauen ließ. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Stadtschloss dann von einem Schiffsbauer erworben. Nun steht es bereits seit 33 Jahren leer. Man versucht den Verfall hinaus zu zögern, aber an die glorreichen Zeiten in denen Kinder lachenden durch die Gänge liefen erinnert nur das viele Spielzeug das überall noch herum liegt.

In the centre of a large city, we discover this magnificent property which was built by a wealthy oil merchant in 1912.

After the Second World War, the city palace was purchased by a shipbuilder. It has now been empty for 33 years. Attempts are being made to delay its decay, but the only reminder of the glorious times when children ran through the corridors laughing is the many toys still lying around.

Der pure Verfall! Was nicht besonders erstaunlich ist, denn dieses 1720 erbaute Bauernhaus steht nun schon seit mehr als 30 Jahren leer. Der Boden ist völlig verrottet und immer wieder tropft Wasser durch die Decke. Der letzte Regen war noch nicht lange her. Staunend stehen wir vor dem was einst ein Esszimmertisch war.
Wohin hat es die Bewohner so plötzlich verschlagen? Sind sie gestorben? Mussten sie eilig das Land verlassen? Man weiß es nicht! Hinter mir zischt es. Irgendjemand hat grade eine Bierdose geöffnet!

Pure decay! Which is not particularly surprising, as this farmhouse, built in 1720, has been empty for more than 30 years now. The floor is completely rotten and water is constantly dripping through the ceiling. The last rain was not long ago. We stand in amazement in front of what was once a dining room table.
Where have the inhabitants gone so suddenly? Did they die? Did they have to leave the country in a hurry? We don’t know! There’s a hissing behind me. Someone has just opened a can of beer!

The lost TB-10 (BE)

Dieses wohl vergessene kleine Flugzeug finden wir im Garten eines Hauses am Rande einer Stadt. Es handelt sich mit großer Sicherheit um eine Socata TB-10 (Tobago) der Firma Socata die zum französischen Daher Luft- und Raumfahrtkonzern mit Sitz in Frankreich gehört. Der Jungfernflug der ersten TB-10 fand am 23. Januar 1977 in Tarbes, Südfrankreich statt. Die TB-10 gilt als gutmütiges Reiseflugzeug für maximal 4 Personen und ist auch als Übungsflugzeug für die Pilotenausbildung beliebt. Ob sie wohl jemals wieder fliegen wird?

We find this probably forgotten small aeroplane in the garden of a house on the outskirts of a town.

It is almost certainly a Socata TB-10 (Tobago) from the Socata company, which is part of the French Daher aerospace group based in France. The maiden flight of the first TB-10 took place on 23 January 1977 in Tarbes, southern France. The TB-10 is considered a good-natured touring aircraft for a maximum of 4 people and is also popular as a training aircraft for pilot training. Will it ever fly again?

“Das Ende ist erst der Anfang” ist ein Film des Regisseurs und Schauspielers Bouli Lanners.
Ein wirklich sehenswerter Streifen in dem auch zwei Lost Places die uns allen gut bekannt sind vorkommen. Einer davon ist dieser alte Verladebahnhof hier, in dem die Hauptprotagonisten eine Leiche finden.

“The first, the last” is a film by director and actor Bouli Lanners.
It is a film that is really worth seeing and also features two lost places that we are all very familiar with. One of them is this old loading station here, where the main protagonists find a bodie.
