Merkwürdige Geschichten ranken sich um das vietnamesische Restaurant “Cite du Dragon” im alten Schlösschen Lindenbos dessen Eigentümer lange Zeit die Vietnamesin Luc Tu Leim war. 2007 stand das Terrain dann für 3 Millionen zum verkauf. So stand es jedenfalls in der Anzeige des Immobilienmaklers. Dafür sollte der Käufer das Schloss mit 10 Schlafzimmern und dem Restaurant, sowie das 2ha großen Gelände bekommen.
Luc Tu allerdings behauptete auf Nachfrage, das nur die Villa die hinter dem Schloss liegt zum Verkauf stehe und nicht das Schloss und wie sie sich ausdrückte “schon garnicht das Restaurant”.
Im April des Jahres schloss das Restaurant dann allerdings plötzlich. Für unbestimmte Zeit, wie man auf der Website des Cite du Dragon lesen konnte. Inzwischen glaubt wohl keiner mehr daran, das das Restaurant noch einmal öffnet. Angeblich ist es verkauft, inklusive der Villa. Der Immobilienmakler will nicht sagen an wen, aber Luc Tu behauptet an ihre Schwester. Und die, so sagt sie “sei verreist”…
Nun, was man noch hört ist, das in dem Restaurant, das durchaus bekannt war und gut lief außer Chop Suey auch noch andere “Dinge” verschachert wurden. Darunter Drogen und Mädchen.
Dies geschah wohl im Obergeschoss des Restaurants während unten die Gäste nichts ahnend einen schönen Abend genossen.
Wie das mit dem angeblichen Verkauf und der “verreisten Schwester” zusammenpasst, darauf mache sich jeder seinen eigenen Reim…
Als wir auf das Gelände kommen kann man sehen, das es einen Brand gegeben hat, der einen Teil des Dachstuhls zerstört hat. Auch die Treppe in die oberen Stockwerke ist durch den Brand und das Löschwasser stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogen und die Begehung ist wahrlich nicht ohne Risiko.
Im oberen Stockwerk leben zudem etliche Illegale, die uns mit grimmiger Mine ansehen. Nun, wenn die erst einmal von einem Haus Besitz ergriffen haben, dann sind dessen Tage gezählt, denn wir haben bisher keine Location gesehen die dann nicht innerhalb von einem oder zwei Jahren bis auf die Grundmauern niedergebrannt wäre…
Strange stories have grown up around the vietnams restaurant “Cite du Dragon” inside the old castel of Lindenbos which was owned by Luc Tu Leim. 2007 the site was for sale. At least that was what stood in the advert of the real estate agency. For that sum of money you could buy the castel with it’s 10 sleeping rooms and the 2ha of terrain around it.
Upon request Luc Tau however said that only the villa behind the castle was for sale and that she had no intend to sell the castle and as she said “now less then ever the restaurant”.
Then, in April, the restaurant suddenly closed. For indefinite time as one could read on the website of the Cite du Dragon. Meanwhile nobody seems to believe that it will open again. Allegedly it is sold, together with the villa. The real estate agent doesn’t want to tell wo is the new owner but Luc Tu claims that her sister had bought it and that she (her sister) was now on vacation.
Well, it is said, that in this restaurant, which was running quite well, not only chop suet was sold but also drugs and young girls. This all happened in the rooms of the upper level while the guests where having a good time in the restaurant. It is told that the restaurant became a huge place for illegal activities.
How that fits together with the alleged sale of the castel and the sister who is “on vacation”, well, have your own thoughts on this…
When we enter the premises we see that a fire has destroyed a part of the roof structure. Also the staircase to the upper level is in a bad shape due to fire and water.
It is quite risky to explore the location. In the upper level we see quite a few illegals, who stare at us with a fierce look. Well if they are inside a location its fate is sealed. We don’t know any location that survived this longer than a year or two without being burned down to its foundation walls.
